Picture People

We decided to be brave and go to The Picture People for Carson's one year pictures. We usually have the worst luck there and always walk away with a bad experience. Getting the boys pictures is no easy task. This time we were able to bribe Colin with a Carousel ride and Carson was on his normal good behavior. The trip ended up being painless and we were excited to see that Carson's 3 month pictures were displayed in the store. Our famous little Carson!!

Happy 1st Birthday Carson!

My sweet little boy turned ONE this week! Wow, where has the year gone? I should probably knock on wood before saying this, but Carson is such a good little boy. He's so happy and laid back and still smiles when his brother is constantly bothering him. I keep telling Colin to watch out for paybacks. Carson weighs 28 pounds and is 95% for height. He LOVES to eat and we have to cut him off from food because he doesn't know when to stop. He's not walking yet, but he can definitely get around!! He's babbling cute little words and he is a joy to be around. We are so proud of our little boys. Happy Birthday Carson.

We had his birthday party at Clark Elioaks Farm with family and friends. Hayride, pumpkin picking, petting zoo, and pony rides. It was a great day to celebrate Carson's birthday.

Bermuda 2009

We are back from Bermuda! It's been a crazy month. Our trip to Bermuda was unforgettable. We went for my cousin Jodie's wedding who got married at Elbow Beach. It was a beautiful wedding and it was great seeing the Bermuda family. The weather was absolutely fantastic the whole week we were there. We all bunked up at the Southampton Princess which was fantastic and we enjoyed our days at the beach and pool and touring the island. Just imagine traveling around for a week with a min of 6+ adults and 4 kids. It was quite an adventure to say the least and there are so many stories to tell. Colin and Carson enjoyed their daily naps on the lounge chairs and splashing in the ocean and playing in the sand. Thank You Sandra and Cameron for everything and thank you to the Ueltschy's for watching the boys when we went to the wedding.

Precious!

The Guy's Visit

Our good friends The Guy's spent the evening with us on their way home to Florida. Reagan and Josh became quick friends with Colin and Carson and we can't wait to see them again next month in Clemson.

OBX 2009

Our trip to the Outer Banks this year was memorable despite the rainy weather we had. It's always great to get together with family and have the kids spend time with their cousins. We hope to plan the trip again for next year and hope for better weather.

Clemson Crab Feast

We went to our annual Clemson Alumni Crab feast with the Cosentino's in Shady Side, MD. Despite the pouring rain and the fact that we were eaten alive by mosquito's, we had a great time and the boys loved it. Colin - Clemson Class of 2027 & Carson - Clemson Class of 2030!!

HoCo Fair

The local fair is always a must do. Colin was in tractor heaven and it just feeds into his current John Deere obsession. He has never worn a hat in his life until we bought him a John Deere hat and he wouldn't take it off all day. Carson took in the sights and then decided to nap while Colin rode the rides.

Checking out each others John Deere!

Future Farmer!

BamBam

BamBam is the best word to currently describe Carson. He loves holding things in his hands and beating the floor to make noise. He will hold a bat in his hands for hours. He's our little BamBam!!

July 4th

Grammy and PopPop had the boys when we went to Charleston and took them to get their pictures done for the 4th of July. She is brave to take them all and I think they came out pretty good. They may not all be smiling, but they are all not crying!! Kayla (14) Austin (11), Chase (9), Colin (3), Caden (2), Carson (9 months)

Charleston, SC

John and I went to Charleston, SC last weekend to visit good College friends and to attend a wedding of a good friend from high school. We had so much fun hanging out with everybody and are still trying to recover from late nights/mornings out!

Put your hands up!

Carson's new trick! He puts his hands up when you tell him...it's actually really cute when he does it and he's so animated too. He is 9 months now and just got over his first sickness, but he's better now. He has 2 teeth and is starting to pull up and get in the crawling position. My little boy is growing so fast.

Swimming

I'm very behind in posting pictures this summer. So, these pictures are actually from early June at Great-Grandmother and Great-Grandfather's heated pool! The boys LOVE swimming and I wish we had a pool closer by. Carson's daycare actually takes him swimming quite often and he's a very bronze baby.

Tractor Ride

To say Colin was in heaven, would be an understatement. Colin absolutely LOVES tractors. John Deere in particular. His eyes lit up when we opened great-grandfathers barn door and he saw 3 big tractors. As much as he loves tractors, he's scared of them when they are turned on, so we were shocked when he decided to go on a tractor ride with Grandma and cut the grass. We had a hard time getting him off...!!

Colin's first Orioles game

We took Colin to his first Orioles Baseball game this weekend. We hung out with the Cosentino's and had dinner with the Clemson Club. Because the game didn't start until 7pm, we decided to leave Carson at home. He likes to go to bed by 8pm so we wanted to keep him on his schedule. Colin enjoyed the game and sat through all 9 innings and told everybody the next day how much fun he had at the "football" game!!

The Jump Zone

We celebrated Colin's 3rd birthday on Saturday with a party at The Jump Zone. Colin and 16 of his friends jumped at an inflatable party and then we all had pizza and cake. Colin had so much fun and John and I enjoyed ourselves too. It's kind of nice not having to clean the house and prepare for a party. I would definitely do it again. Colin came home with a nice black eye and John thinks it looks "cool" and shows that he was playing hard!
