Happy 3rd Birthday Colin!

Happy Birthday to my baby boy! Where has the time gone? He's growing up so fast. These last 3 years have been absolutely amazing. We have enjoyed watching Colin grow from a baby to a little boy. Words to describe him as he turns 3: Smart, Sensitive, Playful, Funny, Caring, Shy, and Happy. Currently loves: John Deere Tractors, Riding his Jeep, Watching Cartoons, Playing Outside, Sucking his fingers, Tubby Time, Reading books at night, Mowing the lawn, Playing with his school friends, Getting a hair cut, and "Fixing" things. Working on: Potty Training, Sleeping in HIS bed all night, Stop sucking on fingers, and Dressing himself. Colin is a great little boy and we are proud of him and love him dearly.

The Perfect Picture....

The perfect picture.... does not exist of the two boys together!!! We took the boys to get their pictures done this past weekend. Colin turns 3 on April 30th and Carson is now 6 months old. We knew it would be hit or miss with Colin. He was in a good mood at first and then he lost his patience. I think John and I lost our patience with the photographer! So, needless to say, these are the pictures we ended up with. Good individual shots, but we couldn't get a good one of them together. Nevertheless, always a memorable moment!!

Happy Easter

We did 3 Easter egg hunts this year, but never made it to see the Easter bunny... More than likely, Colin would be scared of him. We had a busy Easter weekend and spent the day at Grammy and PopPop's house and then to Church on Sunday and Easter brunch at Courtney's house. Below are some snapshots. Where is Carson??!! He was taking a power nap in Averie's crib. We also met "Thunder," moms new black lab... he's a big dog!

(Only in Woodbine do you do an Easter egg hunt with a fake deer used as a hiding spot!)

Baptism

Carson was baptized this weekend and family was there to share his special day. His godparents are Sean and Sue. The church service was lovely and Carson had his microphone on for most of the hour and even shared a big burp during the sermon. We then celebrated at my moms house with brunch and the kids played outside on their Jeeps as it was a beautiful day.

Sitting Up

My little man starting sitting up by himself last week. He goes for his 6 month check up tomorrow so we will find out weight, height, etc. We still haven't started him on solids, but I think we will get the green light tomorrow.
