Glasses

This is probably the only picture I can get of Colin with his glasses on. He had to get glasses about a month ago because he has a lazy eye. It doesn't look like a lazy eye, but it acts like one where he basically can hardly see out of it. In order to try and correct the problem, we put in eye drops in his strong eye to make it weaker and the other one is supposed to get stronger. He's getting used to wearing them at school, but is still shy about wearing them out. I personally think he looks adorable... just like his daddy in his glasses!

Halloween 2010

Batman, Clemson Football Player, Pirate and the Witch had a great Halloween this year. This was our first Halloween in our new house and there were so many kids. My mom came over to hand out candy and she actually ran out and started asking the bigger kids for some of their candy so she could give it out. Colin stayed in his Batman costume for about week and Carson is such a sports fanatic and he enjoyed being a football player. Instead of sleeping with a teddy bear, Carson has been sleeping with his football for the last 2 months! Oh, and it was one COLD Halloween this year.. Brrr!!

Clemson vs. GT

We had our annual trip to Clemson and the boys had a great time. A long drive, but all-in-all, the kids were good. We stopped off Thursday night which was half-way to Clemson and it had an indoor pool, so the kids thought it was a real treat to go swimming and sleep in the hotel... the little things! We spent Friday shopping and taking the boys to Death Valley. We had dinner with the Beaks and crashed at Uncle Andy's house. The boys had a great time tailgating and Carson was so tired that he slept the first half of the game. We were excited our old neighbors were able to meet us there and we got to hang out with them and meet their new baby, Chloe.

Pumpkin Patch

Colin's school had a field trip to the pumpkin patch (a real pumpkin patch where the pumpkins grow on the vines!) He had about 8 field trips this summer and John and I could never make it because of work, but we both made it to this one and brought Carson along too. They had a great time in the haunted barn, hay maze, pumpkin patch and hay ride. However, they had a lot of free time, so the boys decided to tackle each other for a good hour. Snapshot below, Carson is at the bottom of the pile. Boys will be boys...
