Burn #2

We had a trip to the ER on New Year's Eve. John was pouring a pot of boiling soup into a bowl when the the bowl slipped off the counter and onto Carson's little hand. Luckily, it wasn't on a face and luckily he had on a long sleeve shirt. Carson is such a trooper and his second degree burn is fading away and it doesn't look like it will leave a scar. John will never forgive himself for what happened, but we would like to put it behind us in the books of 2010 and have a safe 2011 for all!

Christmas 2010

I can't believe another year has gone by. We had a fantastic 2010 in our new house and watching the kids grow before our eyes. Christmas was nice and relaxing this year. The boys woke up and opened their presents which took forever! Santa brought them some good gifts. The headlights and the Hess trucks were probably their favorite gifts. We then went to Courtney's house for Christmas dinner. The picture below is my mom's reaction to her yearly calendar. July had a picture of the boys dressed up in their "Big Brother" shirts announcing we will be expanding our house by two feet in July!!! Unfortunately, John and I both got sick and spent the next couple of days in bed.
