It's a GIRL!!!!!!

We are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited that we will be having a GIRL in July! I'm still in shock and I think we found out about 1 month ago. The boys are so excited to welcome a baby sister. Aunt Courtney has overloaded us with bins of girl clothes and I have thoroughly enjoyed going through all the cute pink clothes and dresses. I'm actually somewhat nervous about having a girl as I'm so used to having boys.. I guess I need to learn how to french braid hair. We decided on a name awhile ago. Colin and Carson both have names that begin with the letter "C", so we decided to stick with that. Her name will be Corynne Daly(Grandparent's name) Spitz! We are working on a purple and green nursery.. Pics to come.

Potty Training in Progress

We are super excited that Carson is trying to use the potty. We struggled with Colin and he wasn't potty trained until he was 3.5, but Carson has been really good about telling us when he has to go potty and loves his treats when he goes. Let's hope he is potty trained before baby #3 arrives.

Dr. Scholl's

We have been calling Carson Dr. Scholl's for the last month as he has established a fasanation with feet. He will be walking down the steps and stop half way to take off his socks and examine his feet. He doesn't like if anything is in between his toes. Watch out because he likes looking at other people's feet too!

Massunetten!

We were very fortunate that the Eyre's let us stay at their place at Massunetten for the weekend. The Ueltschy's and the Spitz's braved skiing one day with the kids and a day at the water park and we all had a fantastic trip and hope to do it again next year. Madi went snowboarding and did an awesome job and all 4 kids made their way to the top of the mountain on the chair lift. I was a little scared about Carson, but he loved it! That 2 year old has no fear!

Massunetten's water park was a lot of fun! It was very similar to Great Wolf, but again it was another activity I couldn't participate in and didn't get to go down the water slides b/c of being pregnant. There was so much to do there, but the hot spot for the kids was the hot tub.

Sledding

I have so much to catch up on since the beginning of the year, so these next few posts may be old and out of order, but bear with me.

Although it was freezing this winter, we actually didn't get a lot of snow. One snow storm for the season is enough for me. They boys and I went sledding while John painted Carson's room one day. I wasn't able to sled b/c of my pregnancy, but Colin, Carson, Madi, and Ave... and Grandma too had a great time.

And of course, Frosty the Snowman!
