Great Wolf Lodge

We took a random Monday off in December and headed to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. They boys absolutely loved the indoor water park and spending the night in the hotel. The water park had so much to do for kids. Colin was surprisingly not scared of the water slides and went on all the ones he was allowed too. Carson did the little slides and enjoyed the lazy river with me! It was a nice family get away and the kids still talk about it. A must-do for anybody that lives in the area with kids.

Chocolate

The tradition of making candies has been in the family for years and as long as I can remember. However, this was the first year we did it at Courtney's house instead of my Grandmother's, but she was still able to come and supervise. The kids had a great time dipping the peanuts and pretzels in the Chocolate and they made a nice mess. I think they had more fun licking the chocolate than actually making any candy.

NYC

Courtney, Susan, Tonya and I took a trip to NYC in early December. Compliments of my mom/Eyre for a Christmas present last year. It was FREEZING... but we had a good time. I was surprised at how crowded it was as we had to stand in line to get into some of the stores. I think the only thing I ended up buying was a hat for myself, a scarf and 2 name signs for the boys.

Thanksgiving Get Together

We had a quick get together with Seri and Noelle at Noelle's parents house. Take notice of the yellow tractor in the photo... This is a tractor Noelle's parents had in their basement from when their boys were little. Colin has not stopped talking about this tractor since that day. 1 month later the tractor is still on Colin's wish list and doesn't understand why Santa couldn't make him the same one with rust and all.

Christmas Tree 2010

Just a "little" behind on my posting for the month of December, so this will be my attempt to catch up. We took our annual trip to the Christmas Tree farm for our quest to find the perfect Christmas Tree. 1 hour later, we found a tree, but ended up getting the wrong kind and the needles on the tree are painful to touch. The boys had a good time. I think carrying around the saw was their favorite part. Our first tree/Christmas in our new house.
