Sweet Corynne!

Our sweet baby Corynne is growing so fast. She's getting so big and is so much fun. She has found her feet and she is constantly sucking her toes. The boys think it's hysterical. She is a very happy baby and LOVES to smile and giggle. She is sleeping through the night but only takes little 30 min. naps during the day. She started solids and loves eating vegetables and rice cereal.

Chocolate Making

Another year of Chocolate Making at Aunt Courtney's house. The kids had a fun time, but only had a 10 minute attention span and they were more interested in licking the chocolate from their fingers.

Christmas Tree 2011

Another fun year at the farm picking out our Christmas Tree.

Gingerbread House

Stay home day with Ms. Anita because school was closed.

Clemson Weekend

Again, I'm far behind in posting anything. These pics are from our trip to Clemson in October. With the car packed, we headed South! We split the car ride going and drove the full 9/10 hours back. I must say the kids were amazing in the car and we didn't hear a peep out of Corynne. I don't think we could have had better luck. Anita's first tailgate and live football game. She is Clemson's #1 newest fan. We all spent the weekend with Andy and Mel. 23 ppl spent the night, we had 8 in our room and Corynne was an angel. Great Times!! Go TIGERS!!

Our Beloved Bowman

It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to a dearest member of our family yesterday. Bowman, our dog of 9 years, passed away suddenly with what we believe was a heart attack. For those who knew Bowman, understand what an impact he had on our lives and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. Words can't express the love we had for Bowman. We will miss his smile, his unconditional love, his watchful look out of the window, how he greeted us every night, his nightly walks, the thunderstorms, fireworks, slobbery balls, chuck-it, fetch, playtime with the kids, his puppy stage (chewing furniture, drywall, window sills, etc.), his cousins, country club and all the lives he personally touched with family, friends, neighbors and other dogs. He truly was something special. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to prepare for this dreaded day and hope time heals the pain we all feel. Colin had a special bond with Bowman and he is having a hard time accepting what has happened. He picked out the brightest star in the sky for him and we find comfort knowing we will see Bowman again in heaven. During this holiday season, we are thankful we had the best dog in the whole entire world. WE LOVE YOU BOWMAN!!!

Happy Halloween 2011

First Halloween for our Lady Bug Corynne and our Au Pair Anita (Tootsie Roll). Colin was a Camo Ninja and Carson was Spiderman. The kids had a great time trick or treating and we have enough candy to last until Halloween 2012!

Larriland Farm

We spent a beautiful fall day at Larrialnd Farm to pick out pumpkins. We had a great picnic lunch, hay ride, hay maze, boo barn and pumpkin picking. Then we invited ourselves to Grandma's house for dinner since it was right around the corner! Corynne is always a little trooper on all of our outings.

Clmson Vs. MD

What a great weekend with friends in town for the Clemson/MD game and a big WIN for Clemson. The festivities started Friday night at Dustin and Layla's house and then we tailgated and spent the day in College Park. The boys had a great time and are ready to go watch the Tigers play again next weekend in Death Valley.

Sandra Visits

Sandra came for a surprise visit a few weeks ago and took advantage of Air Tran's seasonal flight from Bermuda to Baltimore. We had a busy weekend with friends in town for the Clemson/MD game and Sandra looked after Corynne for the weekend. Corynne had her first night out to Aunt Courtney's house and the girls helped with feedings and diaper changes.

Carson's 3rd Birthday!

We celebrated Carson's 3rd birthday at Pump It Up with all his friends. I can't believe he is already 3. People mistake him for being 4 or 5 because he is so big. He is 40 lbs and is in the 95th percentile for height and weight. We keep telling Colin to watch out because he's almost as big as him. The band aid on his forehead is just for looks... he thinks they are cool and the smallest little scratch gets a band aid.

Daddy's Little Girl!

Clark's Elioak Farm

Carson had a birthday party for his friend Andrew at Clark's Elioak Farm and it was a very chilly rainy day. Here is Corynne all snuggled in her hat and Colin and Carson picking out some pumpkins.

Ellie and Corynne

I have 3 friends that had babies within days of each other and they were all born at the same hospital. I have enjoyed getting together with them on maternity leave for play dates. This is a picture of Ellie and Corynne - 5 days apart.

Friday at the Farm

Colin's school was closed, so the boys and I went to Grandma's house for the day. The tractor babysat the boys! They were in heaven! We also visited Great-Grandmother and Grandfather and she LOVES holding baby Corynne.

Moses's Visit

The Moses's came to visit from CHS a few weeks ago. We had a house full of kids running around and it was so much fun spending time with all of our old neighbors. It is so sad that we all don't live on the same street anymore :-( I wish I had a picture of everybody together, but they were all too busy playing..Colin, Carson, Corynne, Parker, Chloe, Alex, Lucas, Max, Seth, Madi, Ave, Devin and Jordan..our house was a crazy house!

2 Months

2 Months - 13 pounds, 4 oz (94%), 23 1/2" (85%)
Corynne loves to smile and is so cute and lovable. We all adore her to pieces! The below picture is her looking at her bear mobile that she loves. She is only sleeping in 3-5hr stretches at night.

Potty Trained

Carson has been potty trained now for a few months, but I forgot to mention this wonderful milestone. He was so much easier to potty train than Colin, however, he abuses the "potty treats" and goes to the bathroom all of the time so he can get candy. I can't say he has the best aim in the toilet, but he's getting better. He wanted a skateboard when he was potty trained...dangerous...

Clemson vs. Troy

We had the Cosentino's and Kurt's over to watch the Clemson game and the kids all had on their Clemson gear. Corynne and Ellie are 4 days apart (6 wks), Henry 6 months old, Colin 5 and Carson 2. Go Tigers!!!

Colin's 1st Bee Sting

Colin's 1st Bee Sting on his neck. The boys were walking in the woods behind our house when Colin was stung by a bee. He initially cried, but got over it quickly and we are glad to report that he doesn't seem to have an allergic reaction to bees.

Last Day of Pre-School / First day of Kindergarten

The Three Amigos! Colin's last day of pre-school :-( Where does the time go? We are sad to leave such great friends and teachers at Goddard. We hope to stay in touch with Colin's BFF's Brennan and Kyle as they are all off to different elementary schools.

A day we will always remember, I only wish I had it on video. The morning started great... I was able to convince Colin to wear a collard shirt and dress a little nicer than his usual exercise attire (athletic shorts and a t-shirt).. we had lots of pictures with smiley faces and then the BUS came... OMG... The bus stop was CHAOS...there were about 40 kids plus parents so it was a bit overwhelming for a little 5 year old who already has a bit of crowd anxiety... Colin broke down and lost it... the bus driver almost had him get off the bus and it took John and I a walk on the bus to finally get him on... LOTS of tears... All the parents clapped when they finally shut the door and the bus was gone... I followed the bus to school with another mom and spied on him to make sure he was okay... He was all SMILES getting off the bus that day and has been happy going to school ever since. Colin is making new friends and seems to be enjoying his new school.

Update

So much to say, so little time it seems. I am enjoying maternity leave, I LOVE being home with the kids and spending time with my family and will be so sad to go back to work. There are so many projects I want to do, but I find it difficult to find the time to do any of them. Corynne is growing like a weed. She is now 11 lbs 14 oz and is as sweet as can be. The boys adore her. Carson calls her Corynny Bear and we joke that we need a restraining order against him because he is so into her, but we are not complaining. It's as if she has a magnet on her and the boys are attached her... Love it!

5 Weeks

Visitors

We have had a lot of visitors since Corynne was born and are very thankful for such great family and friends!

Sandra came for 10 days to help with Corynne. Our days were full with shopping, the fair, taking the kids to and from school. We were always on the go, but it was good to get out of the house. John and I were even able to get out one night to go to a freinds wedding.

Richard and Victoria came for a few days and stayed with us and met baby Corynne.
